We are Francine and Mike, a family-oriented couple with three wonderful daughters and two beloved dogs. For over 20 years, we've worked side-by-side in the plumbing industry, and our light fixture in the shop pays homage to our background.

Our journey with ice cream began over a decade ago, making it for family and friends. This passion led us to open our first location, a place that feels like home—a living room where memories are made while enjoying high-quality, simple ingredients: dairy, sugar, and eggs. We believe in bringing ice cream back to its roots, and that simplicity is key.

One evening, during an ice cream date, we realized we were out of our homemade ice cream. That moment sparked an idea, and three years later, our adventure of opening The Mission Creamery began. This journey has been incredibly fun, filled with countless conversations with family, friends, neighbours, and even strangers who have now become friends. The highlight has been hearing everyone's ice cream stories—chats about loved ones, favourite flavours, and cherished memories.

For us, ice cream isn't just a treat; it's a way to stop time and connect over shared experiences. We believe that everyone should enjoy good ice cream (even dogs), and our shop is a testament to that belief.
